Sunhorse, Thank you so much for looking at the art. I think we are not very far apart in our beliefs only in the process of achieving them. I agree that there should be a humane way to euthanize sick and old horses. However, the company that wants to build the horse slaughter plant in Montana is everything you DON'T want in any state in the US. This company has a history of pollution abuse and cruelty.

The Mayor of the Texas Town where their horse slaughter was located before it was shut down tells of the continual pollution and cruelty. I know you would not want a companion to end its life in the terror that this company created for the horses.

Yes, I believe we need to work together to manage this issue and I'll be there working to help, but this is NOT the way.

You say that if we get a horse slaughter plant THEN we can work for humane treatment. Sorry, but it doesn't work that way with corporations that have a history of pollution and cruelty. Although we agree on principle I respectfully submit that you've got the cart before the horse.
